Published approach: The point represents the wider beach in the official dataset. It does not identify reviewed parking, a public approach, a quiet fishing zone or safe separation from other beach users.
Treat the pin as a planning reference, not a guaranteed parking space, legal access point or exact casting position. Confirm signs and local restrictions on arrival.

When to go
The official source describes changing seasonal possibilities; check current local reports · Not field-verified; protect a dry retreat and reassess the usable beach as tide and surf change
The official IFI sources associate Curracloe with surf fishing for bass, flatfish and other seasonal shore species. Anglerfield presents those as broad possibilities only. Sandbars, channels and useful water move, so an old coordinate or description cannot identify today’s best or safest position.
Observe the full surf pattern before fishing. Use enough control to prevent the rig sweeping into other people, keep the tackle above the advancing water, and leave when public use removes safe casting space. The Underwater Lab illustrates generic holding and rolling-lead behaviour without claiming to reproduce this beach.
Parking, facilities, phone signal, seasonal restrictions and the public approach remain unverified. A field visit should record those details while respecting privacy and avoiding the capture of swimmers, children, vehicle plates or private property in evidence.
